Schappacher Farms is a 50-acre family-owned farm with six pumpkin patch areas featuring specialty pumpkin varieties, free hayrides on weekends, a corn maze, petting area, fresh apple cider, caramel apples, and mini apple spice donuts.
The specialty pumpkin varieties here are what make it stand out. If you love unusual colors and shapes you will be very happy at Schappacher.
Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm, Radnor

Lehner’s started as a 13-year-old’s 4-H project in 1991 and has grown into one of central Ohio’s most beloved fall destinations with over 50 acres of pumpkins and gourds. The family story behind Lehner’s is genuinely moving. Shawn Lehner, who built the farm from that first roadside wagon load, passed away in 2021, and his family has continued the tradition with the same heart and dedication.
The farm offers over 40 activities including a 10-acre corn maze, pumpkin picking, petting zoo, hayrides, indoor play barns, jump pillows, and more. Prices on pumpkins, gourds, corn shocks, straw, and Indian corn are known for being some of the best in Ohio.
Open Monday from 10am to 3pm and Tuesday through Sunday from 4:30pm to 7pm on weekdays, and 10am to 7pm on weekends during the season.
Yankee Peddler Festival, Canal Fulton
A last minute addition from our Ohio Hidden Gems community and one worth knowing about! The Yankee Peddler Festival is in its 53rd year and runs three weekends after Labor Day at Historic Rogues’ Hollow in Canal Fulton. Open Saturday and Sunday 10:30am to 5:30pm each weekend.
This weekend is Kids Weekend making it a perfect family outing. Think craft vendors, period demonstrations, and that classic Ohio festival atmosphere that makes fall weekends feel special.
